Zac Scanlon
Beginning in August of 2021, Zac Scanlon joined the FBC Wetumpka team as Interim Minister to Students. Zac served on staff at a local church for close to 3 years while he was finishing up his degree at Jacksonville State University. He graduated from JSU in 2020 and began a new adventure in the family business in his hometown of Montgomery, AL.
Through Wednesday night and Sunday morning activities, Zac makes it a top priority for students to see the value of a relationship with Jesus. Through encouragement and challenge, students are taught what it means to follow Jesus and live in obedience to what God has called them to do.
Zac and his wife, Kristin, have been married since 2017 and enjoy the new challenge/season of ministry that God has placed them in. They look forward to building relationships that last and making a lasting impact on Students as they learn, grow, and share in the Gospel!
In his free time, Zac enjoys a round of golf because, in his words, “I usually end up on a nature walk searching for my ball.” He also enjoys competition through sports and through game shows that require random bits of knowledge.
